Game of Thrones fans have had a longer-than-usual wait for the show to return for Season 7. The Season 6 finale aired all the way back in June 2016, but due to Ned Stark’s much-memed warning having finally come true and winter arriving, the shoot for the next batch of episodes was delayed to ensure accurate locations. It’s now been announced that the show will be back on HBO with its season premiere on July 16th, meaning there are just over four more months to go before we return to Westeros....

Foxconn will be supplying System in Package (SiP) for the Apple Watch from next year though its affiliate ShunSin Technology, according to a supply-chain report … Digitimes also reports that Foxconn may be seeking Apple Watch assembly orders. Quanta Computer was original the sole assembler of the smartwatch, with Compal Electronics being appointed a secondary supplier this year, but reportedly for older-generation Watches only. Apple generally likes to have two or more suppliers for most major components and assembly operations in order to reduce risk and boost its negotiation power....

Chandler Bing and Rachel Green are two characters from the beloved sitcom Friends that fans never really expected to get together. While the show teases a romantic connection between the pair in the occasional flashback, Chandler and Rachel never actually gave dating a shot. This is pretty surprising considering Rachel dated both Ross and Joey. So why not Chandler? Chandler and Rachel’s friendship only progresses throughout all 10 seasons of the show and their love for one another, romantic or not, is pretty obvious....

Friends had plenty of opportunities for romance throughout its run. Rachel’s (Jennifer Aniston) romances were perhaps the most scrutinized, especially her relationship with Ross (David Schwimmer). Some believe Ross to be her true love, but others despise their relationship, considering it dysfunctional. Rachel’s relationship with Joey (Matt LeBlanc) was also controversial, especially in the manner in which it played out. It seemed too quick and brushed over to be real, and it never got the chance for exploration that it needed....

Joey Tribbiani was a favorite among Friends fans, and throughout the series viewers followed him through a number of acting roles that went from soap operas to Japanese commercials. Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends premiered on NBC in 1994 and came to an end in 2004 after ten seasons, although Joey’s story did continue in a short-lived spin-off. Joey (Matt Le Blanc) was portrayed as a stereotypical actor: under-educated, promiscuous, and always looking for a job....

Earlier this week, Zac outlined all of the hardware products Apple is likely to release as this year progresses. Just as important as those hardware releases, however, are the software updates that will accompany them. We already know that Apple has iOS 11.3 planned for this month, but beyond that are major releases like iOS 12 and watchOS 5… One thing to keep in mind is that it’s generally easier for Apple to keep details about software updates under wraps than it is to keep hardware details under wraps....

Warning: SPOILERS for Frozen 2 With Frozen 2 released after Disney bought Marvel Comics, the possibility of crossovers between the Disney-verse and Marvel Universe is more real than ever. The Disney film Big Hero 6 is based on a Marvel comic and considered a part of the MCU (or at least one of its alternate timelines). Not soon after the news of Apple potentially opening MapKit as a web API, creative developer Tim Broddin has gone ahead and developed a proof of concept showing what that experience might look like in the future. Fruity Maps mimics a very basic Apple Maps view similar to what you’ve likely encountered with embedded web versions of Google Maps. While it’s missing most features that would make it fully usable (such as pins and searching), it gives us a very nice idea of the extent that Apple Maps might be utilized by developers on a desktop experience....

The release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is rapidly approaching; there are just over two months between now and fans getting a chance to witness what director James Gunn has crafted for his team of rogues. Of course, all of the core Guardians are back once again, but the team will also evolve to include Nebula, Yondu, and Mantis. Outside of the underlying family themes that the franchise will continue to play with, however, the specifics of what the movie will deal with has largely been kept under wraps....

Microsoft announced today that a new system update for its Xbox One game console will soon let users stream live TV to their iPhone or iPad. Set to arrive in the next few months, the Xbox One’s SmartGlass companion app will be equipped with the option to watch television via a local network connection without interrupting a gameplay session. To pull this off, you’ll need an Xbox One, compatible iOS device and Microsoft’s live TV tuner, which is coming to the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain sometime in October....

A Dog’s Journey ( the sequel to the heartwarming film A Dog’s Purpose) brings back Bailey the Dog (voiced by Josh Gad) and his “boy” Ethan (played once again by Dennis Quaid from A Dog’s Purpose) as Bailey finds a new purpose…protecting Ethans granddaughter CJ. Game of Thrones has provided some fantastic memes since it first started airing on HBO. However, no single family of characters has been more open to mockery and strangeless than the Targaryens, who have provided quite a series of hilarious memes based on both the series and the best-selling books. Contract manufacturer Foxconn is trying to calm stock market fears after a report last week that it had laid-off 50,000 workers from its iPhone factory at Zhengzhou months earlier than expected. It has made a statement in a stock exchange filing suggesting that it is recruiting even more workers for its other production facilities … Reuters reports that the statement was made today. The statement is most notable for what it doesn’t say....

Fears that terrorists may be planning attacks in Paris during the Euro 2016 football tournament have led the French government to create an app that sends location-based terrorism alerts to users, helping them steer clear of affected areas. SAIP (Système d’alerte et d’information des populations) is an iPhone and Android app that uses geolocation data to identify people close to trouble spots and to send them automatic alerts with advice on what to do....

Joey is the lovable goof on Friends who is often described as a shallow womanizer whose not too bright. His life passions consistent of eating and becoming a famous actor. He does have some terrific qualities though, such as his endless optimism, fierce loyalty, and gentle nature. And while he might not be the first to get the punchline of the joke, fans could always count on him for a laugh....

Over the course of nine seasons, Friends developed many iconic characters that live on in fans’ memories years after the series ended. Even the most hardcore Friends fans have to agree that not all of the show has aged well. Many of the series’ original jokes would not stand up on their own today, but we should celebrate the acceptance and tolerance of people of all walks of life that has become a more mainstream quality in our culture as well as our media. We can also still enjoy the many times the characters on the show made us laugh so hard....
