Frozen II has finally been released in theaters, following up the massively successful first film. This is arguably the most anticipated sequel to come from Disney animation studios. Few Disney songs impacted the zeitgeist, in the same way “Let it Go” did, so the songs of this new film are some of the most anticipated aspects of the sequel. Luckily, the music is a worthy follow-up to the original soundtrack. Full of the same rock power ballads, goofy lighthearted songs for Olaf, and in world songs that made the first film so successful, Frozen II’s soundtrack does anything but disappoint....

Game of Thrones has come to a conclusion to a mixed response. While some fans are looking for other shows and comics that are similar, others are re-watching the series, and a few have put the whole thing behind them. The deaths of the Sand Snakes in Game of Thrones season 7 were extremely clever. The Sand Snakes were the bastard daughters of Prince Oberyn Martell. Even though there were eight of them, the story surrounding the Sand Snakes focused on the three eldest: Obara, Nymeria, and Tyene. Each of their deaths was brutal but also very ironic. The Sand Snakes were introduced in Game of Thrones season 4 after the death of their father....

Game of Thrones fans were not happy with Daenerys Targaryen’s “Mad Queen” arc, but it could have been fixed if it had only had more time to develop. HBO has cancelled the Game of Thrones prequel TV series that was tentatively known as The Long Night. The show’s pilot episode began filming last July in Northern Ireland, with Naomi Watts (in an unknown role) leading the cast and S.J. Clarkson directing from a screenplay by showrunner Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman). It was one of a handful of Game of Thrones prequel series put into development by HBO, ultimately becoming the first of them to make it to production....

Game of Thrones has often warned that the night is dark and full of terrors, but in season 8 the show has become so dark that it’s often hard for fans to see what’s going on. This is especially worrying given that the White Walkers have arrived at Winterfell, as predicted, before the sun rises - meaning the Great Battle of Winterfell will take place at night. The show first started noticeably hitting the dimmer switch in season 5, with viewers often squinting to see what was happening in the House of Black and White, and it has only gotten darker since then....

Apple’s biggest supply chain partner, Foxconn, is looking to start a new facility in Vietnam as a way to hedge against instability and uncertainty in its current production facilities due to the ongoing trade war between China and the US. As reported by Reuters, Vietnamese state media are reporting Foxconn and the Hanoi People’s Committee are in active discussions to set up an iPhone factory. The status quo today is that most iPhones are assembled by Foxconn or Pegatron in Chinese factories around Shenzhen and Shanghai....

We reported earlier this month that Foxconn announced it would share the initial costs of improving iPhone and iPad assembly plants with Apple following an agreement to improve working conditions based on recommendations from the Fair Labor Association. Today, according to a report from Reuters, labor watchdog Student & Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour released a report claiming Foxconn factories have not changed much since the FLA’s audits: A fresh report released on Thursday by labor watchdog Student & Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour (SACOM), based on visits to several Foxconn factories and 170 worker interviews, found rights violations “remain the norm” including high production targets, inhumane treatment and signs of overall salary cuts....

November’s free Xbox game lineup for Games with Gold has been announced, and while they might not be the heaviest hitters, there are some solid titles on offer. One free game this month may even bridge the gap for anyone waiting for the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on November 15th. Both Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus, which recently announced its free November titles, seem to be somewhat overlooked by Microsoft and Sony lately....

The wildling warrior was first introduced in Season 3 as Mance Rayder’s right-hand man and is now one of Jon Snow’s closest allies. Though he is not one of the key characters on the show, he’s one of those people that gets audiences excited every time he pops up on screen. Tormund is a fierce fighter having survived some of the show’s biggest battles....

Jaime Lannister’s incestuous relationship with his twin sister Cersei on Game Of Thrones had devastating consequences for almost everyone in Westeros. The Kingslayer’s affair with the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms results in the War of the Five Kings after Ned Stark discovers the true parentage of Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen. There were certainly several other characters who would have been a better partner than Cersei. The evil queen was a toxic influence who brought out the worst in Jaime....

Game of Thrones tried correcting some of their mistakes with Sansa from season 5 in “The Last of the Starks”, but the episode instead highlighted the fact that the series still lacks a nuanced understanding of sexual assault and its aftermath. Sansa Stark shared a conversation with the Hound for the first time since season 2 in “The Last of the Starks” episode, in which he insists that she could’ve avoided her trauma at the hands of Littlefinger and Ramsay Bolton if she’d left King’s Landing with him during the Battle of the Blackwater....
