Game of Thrones’ Littlefinger has more than his fair share of betrayals under his belt - but only one that changed the course of Westerosi history: the murder of Jon Arryn. While fans didn’t learn of this crime in full until the fourth season of the show, the score revealed it a whole lot earlier. The Emmy-winning (and Grammy-nominated) music of Game of Thrones is created by the super-talented Ramin Djawadi, and while any fan will recognize the iconic opening theme, the score also features themes and motifs that tie in to specific characters - and these themes can reveal a little bit about what’s to come....

After several reports and Trump’s tease earlier this week, Foxconn this evening officially announced its plan to build an LCD factory in Wisconsin. The move was announced by Foxconn Chief Terry Gou and Trump, alongside Wisconsin governor Scott Walker. House speaker Paul Ryan was also present. Foxconn says it will spend $10 billion over the next three years to build the 20,000-square-foot plant. The company expects to employ some 3,000 people at the start, while the Trump administration says it could create as many as 13,000 jobs over the coming years....

Season 8 of Game of Thrones wasn’t particularly kind to the character arcs of many of its central and supporting cast. Specifically, Oppenheimer shared that the company will add an addition 30 retail stores this year while remodeling 20 existing stores; more than half of this expansion would take place outside of the United States....

Gartner is out with their first quarter 2011 mobile phone market survey. The results bode well for both Apple and Google as both tech giants grew their respective share of the smartphone market estimated at 100.8 million quarterly units, almost double the 54.5 million units shipped in the year-ago quarter. Smartphones are eating dumphones’ lunch, too, accounting for almost one quarter (23.6 percent) of the 427.8 million quarterly handsets, an 85 percent annual increase....

Though it took a time out and thought about its actions ahead of its second season, it looks like Netflix’s star-studded cringe comedy Friends From College won’t be back for season 3. Game of Thrones’ penultimate episode, “The Bells”, did a lot of things that no one expected, but it also finally delivered on Bran’s vision of a dragon flying over King’s Landing. “The Bells” was all about the battle of King’s Landing, and seeing Daenerys go full-on Mad Queen by torching the city, even after they rang the bells to surrender to her. “The Bells” saw plenty of deaths, too; Cleganebowl finally happened, and ended with both brothers plunging into dragonfire (and death), Qyburn had his head smashed in, Euron was run through by Jaime, and of course, Cersei and Jaime were then buried under the collapsing buildings of the Red Keep....
