Depending on the plan, Apple Arcade will be free for 6-12 months. Verizon has been including a variety of free add-ons for its modern unlimited plans over the last couple of years like Disney+, Hulu, Apple Music, and more. Now, Verizon is adding 6-12 free months of either Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass ($30-$60 value)....

Foxconn reported its largest year-over-year earnings decline in a decade because of the initial iPhone X production problems. Via Bloomberg, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (Foxconn) profits fell to $700 million in calendar Q3, a 40% decline compared to the same quarter in the previous year. Foxconn profitability suffered as it could not assemble as many iPhone X devices as it wanted to as supply for components was so constrained. The production problems relating to the Face ID 3D sensor has been sourced from various publications over the last few months....

The HBO’s fantasy show Game of Thrones involves a lot of mysterious characters, but the most intriguing of them all is probably Melisandre, who’s also known as the Red Woman. Melisandre has magical abilities, and she uses it multiple times in the show to either help the heroes or hurt them, depending on whom she’s working with at the moment. Not only is this world full of strange cities with mysterious pasts, dark religions, and intriguing prophecies, but the world is also full of terrifying creatures. As with any fantasy tale, these creatures can appear as friends or destructive foes, though this article will only focus on the latter....

There’s a nice GarageBand for OS X update out now awaiting Mac users. GarageBand 10.1.1 on the Mac gains the ability to work with Apple’s other music-related iPhone and iPad apps, plus the update adds over 2,600 new Apple Loops and sounds to work with, Apple says. The new version is primarily a compatibility fix to bring GarageBand for Mac up to speed with all the shiny new features introduced to GarageBand for iOS back in January....

Throughout the ten seasons of Friends, a lot of changes happened in the lives of the six members of the beloved gang. Both as individuals and in terms of the group itself and their place in it. One more episode remains before we have to say goodbye to Game of Thrones forever (unless you include spin-offs). This final season has proven to be divisive for fans as storylines come to their dramatic ends. Predictably, this has been a bloody season so far with many fan favorites and a few universally loathed characters meeting their violent ends. We’re still processing the death of Theon and Jaime and The Hound, and there are plenty of characters who died just a few episodes ago....

Season 8 of Game of Thrones is almost here, and with one of Daenerys’ dragons still without a rider, there’s plenty of reason to believe Jon Snow will mount Rhaegal - the dragon named after his father. There’s never been a question that Dany herself would climb onto a dragon and learn how to fly with it, and this happened in season 5, when Drogon rescued his ‘mother’ from the fighting pit....
