Star Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) releases the first image from upcoming G.I. Joe spinoff Snake Eyes, featuring himself as the title character. The film is based off of the Snake Eyes character from the G.I. Joe comics and his origins. It was initially announced back in 2018, with an early 2020 release date. Robert Schwentke (RED) is directing, with Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast) penning the script. Foxconn revenue for December fell by 8%, reports the iPhone assembler, citing a large fall in demand in the ‘consumer product category.’ The company didn’t get any more specific than that, but in the light of Apple’s guidance downgrade for the holiday quarter, reduced demand for iPhones seems the most likely explanation … Reuters reports the news. It may not be the end of the bad news for the company: a fresh report yesterday claimed that Apple is further cutting iPhone production by 10% in the current quarter....

Disney has unveiled the official soundtrack for Frozen 2, confirming that each of the four main characters (Kristoff included) gets their own song. The original Frozen owes a good deal of its success to the Oscar-winning songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, especially Elsa’s now-iconic power ballad, “Let It Go”. Anderson-Lopez and her husband returned to write the songs for Frozen 2, which includes a shiny new solo number for Elsa titled “Into the Unknown”....

HBO has announced it’ll air a documentary on the final season of Game of Thrones, one week after the show’s finale. Premiering in 2011, Game of Thrones brought to life the fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, and went on to become a pop culture phenomenon and a huge critical success. According to a report from BFM.TV (via iPhon.fr), France’s Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) has launched a case before a court in Paris claiming Apple owes 48.5 million euros. The complaint points to clauses in contracts Apple has with mobile operators in the country that the DGCCRF, a governing body under the Ministry of Finance, claims are illegal and essentially provide Apple with too much power over the carriers....
