Apple’s special event in Brooklyn this morning has wrapped up. Along with the introduction of new Macs, updated iPads, and a second generation Apple Pencil, Apple’s retail stores were also spotlighted. 60 new Today at Apple sessions were announced, and fans around the world gathered in stores for a special session where today’s keynote was streamed live from the Howard Gilman Opera House.

Readers and fans on social media have shared photos of livestreams from California to Dubai. Previous events like WWDC 2018 and September’s special event were also livestreamed, but this was the first to be promoted with a Today at Apple session as Apple seeks to expand the program’s reach.

Most modern stores with a Forum hosted livestreams today on their Video Walls, all of which were captioned for accessibility. Many locations in the United States opened early to accommodate the 10 A.M. EST keynote, with viewers at Apple Park Visitor Center arriving for 7 A.M.

If you missed a stream of today’s keynote or don’t live near a store with a Video Wall, retail SVP Angela Ahrendts provided welcome news: over 70 stores will receive Forums per year going forward. Apple Covent Garden, the most recent store to be updated with a Video Wall, was a popular destination today.
