Estelle Leonard and Joey Tribbianni had an agent-client relationship in F.R.I.E.N.D.S . Estelle was played by June Gable on the show and boy, did she do a phenomenal job with it, including the time when she played a nurse on “The One With The Birth”.

When Estelle was written off the show in “The One Where Estelle Dies,” a part of us died too. Estelle Leonard was important to Joey. First, she kicked-off his career and later tried to bad mouth him all over town. Nevertheless, she was instrumental in shaping Joey for the role of a “man in a woman’s body.”

Estelle hired Joey after seeing him in a low-budget musical called “Freud!” and leaving her card, “Estelle Leonard Talent Agency” for him. Here are 10 times she had us in splits.

Have You Ever Seen Me Ecstatic?

The first time we heard of Estelle Leonard was in Season 1’s “The One With The Butt.” Joey was signed by an agent who got him the job of playing Al Pacino’s butt.

In “The One With Russ,” Estelle Leonard is sitting in her office chair, smoking away. As soon as Joey enters her office. She asks Joey how his audition went, to which the latter says very well and he got a callback. Estelle expresses her happiness by saying the words, “Joey! Have you ever seen me ecstatic?”

Joey: “No.”

Estelle: “Well, here it is.”

Uh uhh.. uhh… Yeah, You Are Gonna Have To Sleep With Her

From “The One With Russ,” Joey comes to Estelle with slight trepidation. He gives a fairly good audition for the part of the cab driver but feels the network casting lady Lori was sort of coming on to him. He thinks he may have to sleep with her in order to get the part. Estelle calls Lori a doll but is slightly shocked to learn the truth. She calls Lori immediately and makes some odd noises over the phone. At the end of the call, Estelle goes, “Yeah you are gonna have to sleep with her.”

Do I Have Lipstick On My Teeth?

In “The One Where Eddie Won’t Go”, Joey feels dejected after being fired off of The Days of Our Lives. He visits Estelle’s office in order to get him another job. Estelle appears unfazed by Joey’s news. In what feels like is going to be a pep talk, Estelle asks what no sane person would.

Joey: “So, you are not mad at me for getting fired and everything?” Estelle: “Joey, Joey! Look at me. Look at me!” Joey: (looks up) Estelle: “Do I have lipstick on my teeth?”

With Her Face And Her Chest

Estelle is always scheming with people, and she can’t get Joey one decent audition, post The Days of Our Lives. It’s either plays or weird parts. In “The One With The Screamer,” Joey is doing a play based on Jennifer Banberry’s work. For the actual gig, Joey invites almost every friend of his. Estelle, being his agent is naturally present at the after-party.

After seeing the play directed by Marshall Townend, Estelle thinks Rachel and Monica were present in the play. “You two girls were outstanding,” says Estelle to Rach and Mon. After clarifying that the girls aren’t actors, Estelle goes, “Oh, what a shame! Because with her face and her chest, I could really put something together.”

Chandler picks the moment to say, “Could I borrow it?”

What Can I Say? She Nailed it!

In “The One With The Inappropriate Sister,” Joey is pissed at Estelle for not getting the part about 29-year-old Italian actor from Queens. Considering the part is an exact description of who he really is in real life, Joey is pretty mad at Estelle. Her excuse is that Talia Shire suddenly became available. Joey is flustered at how a woman could get to play a man part in the play.

Estelle: “What can I say? She nailed it!”

But, Gay Porn?

Since Joey is in the acting business, he faces his fair share of rejection. In a continuation of the previous dialogue with Estelle, Joey asks her if there’s something else for him to do. Frankly, Joey and the guy who eats paper should have quit on her a long time ago. But for some reason, Joey keeps sticking with her.

Estelle: “Well, you are just gonna say no again. But, gay porn?”

Run Joey Run, run for your life!

Bad Mouthing You All Over Town

In “The One Where Joey Loses His Insurance,” Joey goes to see Estelle after losing his health insurance. He badly needs a job, poor thing. Earlier he could get hit by a bus, catch on fire. But not anymore.

Joey begins by asking Estelle to get him a job. Estelle is under some apprehension that Joey left her. “They think they can do better but they all come crawling back to Estelle,” she replies back. Joey immediately clarifies she’s always been his agent.

Estelle reaches for the phone and says the first thing that they need to do is damage control. Joey asks her why. Estelle obviously hints at herself while saying,

“Well, I think someone out there may have been bad-mouthing you all over town.”

Mac And C.H.E.E.S.E

In “The One Where Ross Meets Elizabeth’s Dad,” Joey doesn’t know he’s getting fired off of Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E on the very first day. It has a little something to do with a guy who controls the Robot (C.H.E.E.S.E), we think. He doesn’t like Joey. Just as Joey is complaining to his friends about having to fire the robot operators, Estelle calls him.

Estelle: “Joe! I’m glad I found you! I got an audition for you. The thing is, it’s kind of on the q.t. The actor who has the part doesn’t know he might be fired. It’s a lead in a series, Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E.”

Estelle is foolishly unaware that her client Joey is the lead in Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. All she says is, “uh, oh!”

Full Frontal Nudity

In “The One With Ross and Monica’s Cousin,” Estelle has arranged a fantastic audition for Joey in a big movie. It’s a big-budget period movie about three Italian brothers who come to America at the turn of the century. Joey explains his part to Monica and Phoebe in Central Perk, over coffee. Estelle happens to ring him with a piece of good and bad news. The casting people loved Joey, but the part may require a little more from Joey.

Estelle: “Do you have a problem with full frontal nudity?”

What Time You Wanna Pick Me Up?

In “The One Where Rachel Is Late,” Joey’s movie premiere is near. An excited Joey receives a phone call from Estelle saying she was able to get him one guest ticket to his own premiere. It’s odd given that it’s Joey’s own movie. Turns out, Estelle sold four of his tickets on eBay. She tells Joey he’s seated next to Hot Guy 372. Before Joey hangs up on her, Estelle asks,

“What time you wanna pick me up?”

Beep beep (Phone Clicks)

Estelle: “Hello?”
