Fring (App Store Link) has always been our favorite iPhone instant messaging app…by far. Not only is it free, it was the first to allow Skype calls and SIP calls (including Google’s Gizmo5). It was also one of the first to have Push Notifications and it works across many smartphone platforms. Today’s iPhone update allows video calling to Skype users via the iPhone‘s built in camera. We misunderstood the video....

Fear not sequel fatigue, Frozen 2 has just become the highest grossing animated movie of all time. Frozen 2 released back in late November 2019 to mostly positive reviews, and has since skyrocketed to the highest echelon of the box office. It seems Disney played their cards right with the release of Frozen 2 by having the film launch worldwide the weekend before Thanksgiving, essentially ensuring the sequel wouldn’t face the same “challenges” its predecessor did....

Rather than shoot eveything in a studio, GoT uses real-life locations across the Western Hemisphere to represent Westeros. From the hills of Northern Ireland, to the glaciers of Iceland, Game of Throne’s production crew spared no expense in making the most detailed show possible....

During the eighth season of Game of Thrones, it is the smallest Lannister, Tyrion, who possessed the most smarts. Since his family received the accolades and held most of the political power, Tyrion used his charm, cunning, and wisdom to get by, and he succeeds in doing so many times....

Director David Nutter has come to the defense of the latest episode of Game of Thrones, and the way in which Jon Snow bid a final farewell to his loyal direwolf Ghost. Episode four of Game of Thrones’ eighth season, titled “The Last of the Starks”, saw Jon departing his home of Winterfell and sending Ghost off to the true north. Some were unsatisfied with the way the scene played out, as it seemed Ghost was once again being pushed out of focus....

Texas-based game retailer GameStop has taken a hit over the past year as users move game downloads to mobile devices and online platforms. While the company still maintains a two-thirds share of the retail market, its stock has taken a sharp 26 percent dive, leaving the company in need of a serious turn-around. We first reported last September that GameStop had begun taking in trade-ins of Apple’s devices, and we now have learned that was a part of the company’s master plan to bounce back....

Because the role was so vital to the film, given that Pamela Voorhees was Friday the 13th’s original killer, it’s surprising that director Sean S. Cunningham took so long to cast the role. Eventually, Cunningham found Betsy Palmer, who stepped up to the role and became known for it, despite her initial thoughts that nobody would go out and see the film....

With just four episodes left in its first season, the TV adaptation/continuation of What We Do in the Shadows gets a season 2 renewal from FX. Long in development, the pseudo-sequel to Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s 2014 mockumentary of the same name finally premiered on the cable network in late March, earning positive reviews for the writing and the cast, which includes, Matt Berry (The IT Crowd), Kayvan Novak (Four Lions), Natalie Demetriou (Sick Note), and Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart)....

There were a lot of big deaths on Game of Thrones, but nothing quite satisfying as when King Joffrey was poisoned at his own wedding. Joffrey was a cruel king, a spoiled brat, and the person responsible for the death of Ned Stark as well as the mistreatment of several of the most beloved characters on the show. With so many key characters being killed on the show, it’s easy to overlook the impact of Joffrey’s death had going forward....

Either Google is diving head-on into the Nigerian Porn business or the engineering geeks at YouTube didn’t bother to check its algorithm recently. Right at the top of the Free Listings is Mad Sex 2, BlackBerry Babes (Hmm… a tech movie?) and Naked Girls. All available for any user on YouTube. Parents won’t appreciate Google making it so easy for kids to get their hands on this stuff — not that one can’t find plenty of porn out there on the Internet....
