Fox cancels Almost Family, after rape allegations surface involving series star Timothy Hutton. Based on Sisters, an Australian drama, Almost Family premiered on Fox in October 2019. The show centered around a fertility doctor (Hutton) that used his sperm to conceive at least 100 children throughout his career. As this revelation comes to light, other characters are introduced. According to a report from Nikkei Asian Review, Apple manufacturing partner Foxconn has proposed to purchase Sharp’s LCD business. The deal would see Foxconn hold a majority stake in the company, while Apple would also come on board as an investor. Reuters reports this morning that a fire which threatened to set ablaze Foxconn’s plant in Shandong, eastern China, has been extinguished.
