In a statement to Businessweek, Louis Woo, spokesman for Taipei-based Foxconn said: Daisey was exposed via an NPR reporter that contacted his translator Cathey Lee who denied just about every part of Daisey’s story. Daisey, for his part, responded: Daisey has been forced to stop his show but did receive a standing ovation following its last performance this weekend....

To add to its catalog of refurbished iPods, iPads, and iPhones, major game/entertainment retailer GameStop could be on its way to selling the MacBook too. As one of the last of its own apps to get an update for iOS 8, Apple has now updated its GarageBand app for iPhone and iPad with support for the new operating system and more. On top of the expected iOS 8 support, the app also gains MIDI over Bluetooth support, which means compatible MIDI keyboards, DJ controllers and other MIDI-based instruments can now connect wirelessly and send MIDI data to the app over Bluetooth LE....

Amid rumors of plans to move to the United States, cut iPhone orders, and expansions to India, Foxconn today announced that it saw its first-ever annual sales decline in 2016 since it went public in 1991. The company’s decline is being blamed on “lukewarm” demand from Apple, its biggest client, according to Nikkei. In 2016, Foxconn recorded revenues of $136.38 billion, down 2.81 percent compared to 2015. Apple accounts for over 50 percent of the company’s revenue....

As the investor community fears devastating repercussions to the production schedules of Chinese industry in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, many doubt whether Apple’s major iPhone 12 release cycle will be able to go ahead as normal.
